Résumé
The existence of a stationary rarefaction wave in a current-carrying plasma was analyzed. The wave appeared when the magnetic field penetrated into the plasma and magnetized the electrons. The wave discovered appear during the penetration of magnetic field into plasma and magnetized the electrons, which forms the wavefront at cathode and propagates towards the anode through the magnetized quasineutral plasma. It was found that Hall plasmas could support rarefaction shocks, the waves could be regular. Their stationary space profile was also derived.
