Résumé
Fission excitation functions for 16O+141Pr, 165Ho, 175Lu and 197Au, for 12C+169Tm and for 22Ne+22Ne+159Tb have been analyzed to determine the excitation energy dependence of the fission probability. As excitation energy increases, this probability reaches a maximum and then decreases monotonically. The results provide new and detailed information on the time distribution of the fission probability and confirm that the bulk of the pre-scission emission occurs prior to the saddle point.
