N2 - Current mobile terminals are often equipped with several network interfaces, which may be of different access technologies, both wireless and cellular. It is possible to select dynamically the best interface according to different attributes such as the interface characteristics, user preferences and/or application preferences MADM is an algorithmic approach suitable to realize a dynamic interface selection with multiple alternatives (interfaces) and attributes (interface characteristics, user preferences ). In this paper, we propose the Distance to ideal Alternative (DiA) algorithm to help terminal to select dynamically the best interface and deals with the ranking abnormalities of the TOPSIS method and the ranking identification of the SAW and WP method. Simulation results in are presented to validate the DiA algorithm.
