Résumé

The TEMMAS (TEledetection, Measure, Modeling of Atmospheric pollutants on industrial Sites) project, supported by the French environment agency (ADEME), included two intensive measurement campaigns, which were conducted in the vicinity of a refinery in the south of France, in September 2015 and February 2016. The aim of these campaigns were to study the refinery PM microphysical signatures and its evolution with distance to the source in the first kilometers. During the campaigns different observation protocols of PM were deployed, including aircraft measurements with Hyperspectral camera and ground measurement with complete analysis of PM speciation and number. According to the different techniques, two types of models were use for comparison against performed measurements: the Polyphemus Plume-in-Grid (PinG) model and the Safety Lagrangian Atmospheric Model (SLAM). Very coherent results are obtained between the hyperspectral estimation of PM fluxes, stack analysis, ground analysis and PinG chemical model in term of mass, composition and number.
