Résumé

Accurate determination of surface free energy is fundamental for progress in science and engineering, providing the basis for innovative designs and assemblies in practical systems. This study addresses claims questioning the application of our inverse gas chromatography (IGC) methodology to MXene materials, demonstrating its robustness compared to conventional methods, particularly for nonpolar surfaces and high-temperature systems. By emphasizing the interplay of hydrophobic and hydrophilic interactions, we validate the reliability of our approach with additional data while highlighting limitations in the critique. This work reinforces the critical role of methodological precision in surface free energy analysis and its impact on advancing material interface research.
